“ We were walking in Basalt and happened upon Heathers Savory Pies. Normally I think of pot pies as frozen and non appealing. I tried the Chicken Pot Pie and am coming back tomorrow for another one. Just made fresh stocked full of vegetables and chicken with a fantastic crust. If Heather can make pot pies, you won’t believe her deserts. We have the rhubarb and strawberry pie fresh out of the oven! Olivia is a phenomenal helper and really made some great suggestions which we readily accepted. Overall we are recommending that you do not overlook this hidden gem! Your tummy will thank you ”

“ 09/01/2023: Located in Basalt, CO - This was our 2nd visit to this cute restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Though they are known for their pies, both dairy and sweet, we opted for other dishes. I had the duck breast. It was cooked perfectly, and you could taste the richness of the duck. The bonus of the evening was the live music on the patio. We sat outside for our meal, so we got a front seat to the entertainment. The couple performed well. We even got up and danced! Such a great evening with a wonderful meal and fabulous entertainment! I can't wait to go back ”

“ So grateful to Heathers Savory Pies and Tapas. For our son’s rehearsal dinner, we decided to have dinner delivered from Heather’s Savory Pies and Tapas to the Airbnb local in Basalt. Rene Lujon helped me create the perfect menu for 20 people based on our budget. They were able to set-up chaffing dishes for a family style dinner and then a call afterwards for clean-up. The guests raved about the food, and they made it so easy for us. We had appetizers - stuffed mushrooms, Jalapeno Hushpuppy Bites, and Smoked Salmon Crostini. Entree’s included Pasta Anna for the vegetarians. We had beef - Pot Roast and mashed potatoes, and Chicken - Orange basil chipotle chicken and rice. Dessert - a variety of fruit pies and ice cream. As we were so happy with food and service, we highly recommend checking them out! ”
